Ishita and Aman first met through a dating app, but it was their instant connection that made them partners for life!
What followed soon after, was a surprise proposal on a yacht overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, with Aman crooning “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai…” for his lady love! And of course she was smitten too <3
They planned an intimate wedding at a quaint resort in picturesque Kufri, near Shimla and everyone enjoyed to their hearts’ content. Lovely bride Ishita dressed to impress and gives us #outfitgoals at each of her wedding functions. Let’s have a dekko…
Let’s Get Yellow with Haldi
The celebrations kick-started with a sunny n vibrant haldi out in the open, with the snow-covered Himalayas as the backdrop.
Ishita kept things bright and perky with a yellow lehenga and rani pink blouse. Her traditional leheria odhni added a beautiful touch to the pictures!

Maverick Mehendi
The mehendi function was a vibrant affair with colorful drapes, quirky hangings, genda phool et al.
Ishita wowed in this fab purple and blue lehenga with 3 D flowers and the sexiest blouse to add oomph. “She designed a great piece of personal art for my mehendi… and named it the falling flower lehenga!”, reveals our gorgeous bride.
Fabulous blow dried hair and a groom who happily colour coordinates is all we need to get twirling, don’t we!
To us, what sets her apart from the usual brides is her electric nail paint and lip colour; and her verve to rock this outfit effortlessly without a dupatta!
Add feet-tapping music and dance to a great setting and lovely food, and you’ve got yourself a superhit mehendi party!
The Filmy Cocktail & Sangeet Night!
Our movie buff couple wanted their cocktail sangeet to entertain their wedding guests like a Bollywood blockbuster, so the red style carpet entrance and hall of fame completed the look. The ‘movie-reel and popcorn tub’ cake looks yummilicous too!!!
Ishita looked like a true diva in her royal blue and gold lehenga, and we love how she paired it with pretty haathphool and minimal jewellery.
“I had planned for a week-long trip to India for deciding on my outfits, but during my online research, my eyes got stuck on this beautiful blue lehenga by Akanksha Gajria!”
Groom Aman looked stylish as he rocked the party in a crisp navy blue tux and we’re sure you can make it from their pics that this cocktail was their favourite event!
Ishita quips “Best memories come from craziest parties… never in my life, have I danced so much! It was a crazy event, we couldn’t stop partying and were dancing all night long as if there is no tomorrow”.
The Gorgeous Destination Wedding in Shimla
When you’ve got picturesque views of the clear blue skies and majestic Himalayas as your wedding backdrop, its easy to forget all stress and bliss out, isn’t it! “MUA Leena Bhushan definitely brought out the best in me, making sure every look was different from each other” says Ishita.
She found her dream wedding lehenga in Delhi at the Liz Paul store and we love how this cherry pink piece is paired with a baby pink net dupatta. Add on the layered necklaces, oversized maangtika and pretty kaleere… and this girl has turned into the most gorgeous bride ever!
Meanwhile, Aman looked a class apart in his beige sherwani paired with this royal blue kurta and shawl.
Ishita gave everyone bride entry goals as she walked down the aisle with her father and brother. You could hear the tunes of her favorite song “A Thousand Years” being played in the background by two talented Russian musicians on violin and saxophone!
Whereas Aman made a rocking entry with his squad to take away his dear bride!
From these precious moments like sindoor to the many candid moments they shared with each other, photographer House on the Clouds has captured their chemistry and love quite beautifully on frame!
“There is nothing like the camaraderie that one has with their better half. Forget there exists a camera and enjoy your time as a couple” advises Ishita to all you to-be couples.
The most special and unexpected thing Aman did?
“He never ceases to amaze me, but if I have to pick one it will be the moment when he proposed to me!”
The Glam Reception
Their Reception was all about glitz and glamour in hues of peach, off-white and gold!
Ishita looked simply stunning in this ivory and gold Shantanu & Nikhil lehenga with a ruffled blouse that’s to die for!

Forget about everything else, just focus on enjoying your wedding and creating memories. When you are happy you will get the best pictures, which you will treasure for life.
