Vibrant romantic traditional yet glamorous! There’s tons of Indian wedding ideas to swoon, copy and share from this gorgeous couple’s wedding.
If you’re looking for Indian wedding ideas for your outfits, decor or wedding photography – there’s nothing better than this stylish couple right here!
Lovely bride Isha Multani and beau Ronak Daftary got hitched in a conventional Punjabi-Hindu ceremony with friends and family showering their love and blessings – and its simply wowwwwwww….
What started off with a casual party chit chat in a Mumbai nightclub, soon turned into a heart-to-heart connection with the cupid never leaving their side.
The Terrace Proposal
With the bride almost not showing up on the day of proposal to a loose ring… Ronak swept Isha off her feet with his romantic proposal and everything fell into place like a dream!
Garba Grooves
Isha chose to dress up for the garba in a beautiful hand embroidered lehenga from Debyani and co. looking absolutely breathtaking in her princess like twirl shots!
The mirror work lehenga in unusual blue and pink hues is a winner all the way and the pretty waistband (love how it let’s her dance without a care!) and traditional bangles and accessories complete the look!
Her light natural makeup lends a glowing-from-within look, and the double bindi works its magic! The stunning kundan necklace paired with a navratna choker are giving us major jewellery goals.
Don’t miss how she’s kept her hairdo minimal with a center parting and curls let loose, with vibrant red flowers pinned up right!
Ronak looked no less than a star groom in his Shantanu Nikhil ensemble and the couple is effortlessly twinning in a medley of blue and red hues!
The colourful garba backdrop lends its quirky character to their wedding pics!
From capturing their melodramatic poses to cutesy romantic candid shots, wedding photographers Sam and Ekta have done a brilliant job!
And we can’t stop staring as she dances away to a night full of dhols, beats and cheers with friends and family!
In all the wedding madness, those essential fun frames with her besties were’t missed – and we’re loving it!
Mehendi Magic!
Breaking the current pastel and multi-color mehendi outfit trends, Isha wore a classic red batik printed Anita Dongre lehenga for her mehendi. The strappy backless choli and dupatta make it a pin-worthy ensemble!
What stands out is her choice of using the exact same blue from her lehenga as the highlight of her look – everywhere from her unique floral jewellery to her butterfly hairdo to her eye-makeup!
If you’re still fawning over her superchic blue, red and white jhumkas and maangtika – wait till you see a close up of her hathphool and her ethereal hair accessories!
Isn’t that the prettiest hairdo ever… with a bunch of blue butterflies and baby’s breath highlighting her braid!
And that eye-makeup is to die for!!
Ronak looked picture perfect in a white kurta and waistcoat by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla that effortlessly uses the same shade of red as her lehenga! 50 shades of love or what? <3
Rocking Sangeet
At their sangeet, Isha looked everything glam and divine in a sparkling silver Manish Malhotra lehenga.
We are drooling over the flared lehenga paired with a sequinned one shoulder blouse and the perfect match of diamond jewellery!
Nude glossy lips, soft eyes and stunning mermaid curls completed her radiant sangeet look like a charm.
Ronak looked dapper in his maroon draped kurta paired with a dark blue achkan by Shantanu and Nikhil.
Isha’s glamorous stage avatar was a sure-shot winner we say!
For Royal Indian Wedding Ideas – Take a Peeeeeek!
At the wedding, our glowing couple looked nothing short of pure gold! We simply love how everything follows the classy pink and gold theme – from her outfit and accessories to the mandap and decor.
Her breathtaking bronze Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehenga was everything regal and rich without being OTT. She looked absolutely effervescent in this gorgeous outfit and her bridal glow added that extra sparkle!
If the outfit wasn’t enough, her heirloom jewellery makes a statement in itself! The regal kundan haar and choker create the layered effect with complimenting jhumkas, maangtika, minimalistic nath and a most mystic passa.
The floral bun, dewy makeup and golden sheen on the eyes and nude lips completed her ethereal bridal look.
No wonder, her wedding look was her favourite!
She shared – “Even though Garba and Mehndi outfits and looks received so so much more love, my bronze Sabya is what I loved the most. It was different and nothing we see everyday. And it matched perfectly with my family heirloom so definitely was a winner!”
Ronak donned a classic Anita Dongre Sherwani in cream with gold embroidery complimenting his lady love.
What you can’t miss is the perfectly colour coded pink and gold decor all around and how the phoolon ki chaadar completely complements too!
This beautiful portrait with her mother and sister is our favourite – don’t forget to pin it up for your wedding day poses!
If you’re looking for indoor mandap settings, this divine mandap decorated with plush floral chandeliers in white and pink against the golden pillars is everything you need to see and save!
And without doubt, they make the loveliest couple… with such sweet-hot chemistry peeping through their couple portraits.
How was your wedding planning and wedding shopping experience?
Shopping for your wedding trousseau is easy once you have visioned and narrowed down what you really want – shares Isha.
“Honestly, it was so much fun! I shopped in Mumbai only. Initially had planned to travel to Delhi as I had heard that the shopping there is amazing, but I realized Mumbai has just as much if not more 🙂 “
Was there anything unique that you did for your Wedding?
Unique would be the little set up I did just for my photoshoot at the Four Seasons Lawns outside the room I got ready. I wanted a full “pinteresty” vintage vibe and so, that’s what I created!
What NOT should brides do at their wedding?
They should not stress! and not diet. We need good skin and hair, stress definitely hinders that! And dieting is a bad idea cause we feel way too listless and have frequent headaches.
Wedding vendors you totally recommend?
Isha recommends the work of her hairstylist – Ritika hairstylist, and all her makeup artists – Jamini Sobhani, Pakkhi Pahuja, Namrata Soni and Varsha Gidwani.
She also recommends Happy Dancing Feet as the best choreographers.
