Childhood Sweethearts
Happiness is… getting married to your childhood sweetheart! Ruchit and Krupa were childhood friends who grew up together and witnessed each other’s journey closely.
In between new friendships and exploring life, their fondness for each other only grew stronger. But it was only after both of them headed to London for their studies, that they realized their deep love for each other!
Their day of love was in Berkeley when Ruchit popped the big question and Krupa couldn’t help but say ‘Yesssss’!
The next step was planning their wedding together, and the grand palace wedding in Abu Dhabi is a must see for the colorful outfits, beautiful decor and entertaining events.
Arabian Souk Mehendi
A magical Souk or Arabian Bazaar themed mehendi function kicked off their wedding extravaganza. The decor was everything colorful and magical – with vibrant drapes, trinkets, dreamcatchers, floral arches, Arabian street vendors, exotic birds and more!
All you need to make a mehendi ceremony a hit was right there – with feet tapping music, entertainment, finger foods and happy vibes all around.
Isn’t that quite a frame with a bird on one arm and his bride on the other! 😉
Bride Krupa glowed in a floral jade green Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehenga paired with a peach blouse while Ruchit complemented her with a peach mirror work kurta by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Her subtle make-up and simple messy plaits kept her looking fresh and fab!
Dessert crazy?!! Grab some world famous Turkish ice-cream n go tap-tap-tapping to the live music scene!
Magical Arabian Night
For the musical Arabian night, Krupa turned up like a Mughal empress in an zardozi sharara with maroon dupatta by Rimple & Harpeet Narula. Her regal passa, jhumkas and mangtika completed the royal look. We love how Ruchit made a twinning statement in his maroon draped kurta.
It was a musical night that began with welcoming the guests with fresh mogras, and comprised of dance performances, shaayri and lots of photo sessions.
Setting the mood right with soulful songs was Shadab Faridi as Ruchit and Krupa celebrated an evening full of love!
The Glam Sangeet
Their sangeet was all about this larger than life stage set up and psychedelic lights showcasing grandeur, glamour, and luxury.
Krupa shone in a champagne Manish Malhotra lehenga with a beautiful trail style dupatta. Her sleek hair and classic diamond and emerald jewellery made a statement of sophistication.
Ruchit kept his look classy with a black sherwani with white embroidery work.
From power-packed performances to the graceful bride dance, the stage was lit up like never before!
And the cutest couple dance moves and on-stage proposal made it all the more romantic!
The Beautiful Palace Wedding
The grand Emirates Palace was done up in hues of pastels, tons of blooming flowers and pastel balloons to welcome the couple.
Ruchit and his baraat started from the palace in his open top Rolls Royce and headed towards the beach.

On the other side, gorgeous Krupa looked stunning as she turned bride in a cream and gold lehenga by Kresha Bajaj!
Teaming it with polki jewellery with a hint of green, tons of bangles and a simple green bindi, she looked as regal as a queen.

Palace Wedding – Glam Reception!
Making a glamorous entry together as Mr and Mrs for the first time, Ruchit and Krupa concluded their wedding celebrations with a sparkling reception.
Amidst the glitz and glamour, Atif Aslam lit up the stage and got the guests grooving with his soulful songs.
While Krupa shimmered in a glittery gold gown by Manish Malhotra, Ruchit suited up in a crisp white tux for the evening.
